Lia Hess

Lia Hess has been the President and Chair of the Estonian Foundation of Canada since 2002. She also volunteers as the Manager of the Hamilton Estonian Mixed Choir, vice president of Korp! Amicitia, the North American Singers Federation and is a member of the Gift Planning and Leave a Legacy Associations of Canada.
She is the owner, Investment Advisor and Estate planner at Hess Financial Centre in Hamilton and IIROC and Insurance licensed with Manulife Securities.

Secretary Peeter Põldre

Peeter Põldre has been a Member of the Estonian Foundation of Canada Board since 2004 and has been the Secretary since 2006. He also volunteers as the Vice President of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Consistory and is Vice Chair of St Peter's Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church Of Toronto.
He is the Vice President, Education and Medical Professional Practice at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, as well as being a Professor of Medicine and Education at the University of Toronto.
