EFC Funding

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FUNDING APPLICANTS

Estonian Foundation of Canada (EFC) is a registered charity that supports Estonian cultural and heritage initiatives across Canada (Charitable No. 891452575 RR 0001).

EFC has NEW funding submission info and application forms as of 2024. Old application forms will not be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY

EFC will consider funding applications from established organizations, groups, and associations as well as new initiatives that align with its mission to support and sustain a vibrant Estonian community across Canada. EFC is dedicated to advancing Estonian culture, heritage, language, and education in Canada. EFC does not fund individuals seeking support with personal endeavours.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

• MARCH 1, and
• OCTOBER 1

APPLICATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. If you have received previous support from EFC, this request and any future grants will not be awarded until final participation statistics and receipts from the previous project have been received.
2. Submission of an application does not guarantee that EFC will provide any funding for the program or initiative.
3. Additional information may be requested by EFC to ensure CRA compliance.
4. If funding is approved, by accepting funds, recipients are required to recognize, help promote and encourage donations to Estonian Foundation of Canada.
